We would like to take the opportunity of introducing to you some of the latest developments which may be of particular interest to companies involved in the specialist requirements of the Die Cutting, Foil Stamping and Embossing industry. Norman Haynes Ltd. are the U.K and Ireland distributor of the American manufactured Kluge foil stamping, embossing and die cutting presses. We also offer the industry standard Heidelberg T and GT range of platen presses and Heidelberg KSD A2 format foiling and die cutting cylinder press from our factory stock reconditioned.

Often called "the workhorse of the industry", the Kluge EHD and EHF foil stamping, embossing and die cutting platen presses are already a legend. Featuring speeds up to 3,300 impressions per hour, the presses can accommodate up to 15"x 24.75" (381mm x 629mm) sheets, with up to 40 square inches of die area. Kluge's patented Delayed Dwell technology allows the press to start on impression sooner, bottom out, and remain on impression longer­ doubling impression time with no loss of production speed and assuring flawless foil separation from the stock. A new, optional, free-standing mobile electronics console puts all press operations in one place for easy access. Rugged, dependable and simple to operate, the Kluge press is known for providing years of reliable service in foil stamping, embossing and die cutting, and for over 25 years has been the standard by which all presses in its class are measured. The Kluge excels in security applications with multi rewind precision hologram registration units available and also the ability to foil from centre drive numbering machines supplied by Leibinger.

Our 'Foilmaster' manufacturing and services programme offers equipment, materials and techniques specifically designed to meet the diverse and demanding requirements of the small to medium flat sheet size user in the foil stamping, embossing and die cutting industry.

Our policy is to offer quality machinery, foil printing systems and materials to meet the individual requirements of each customer. We can offer presses from stock, factory reconditioned to the highest standards and supplied with an unmatched level of engineering and manufacturing excellence. To our company 'factory rebuilt' means exactly that. Each machine is rebuilt with total quality in mind and our extensive customer base is proof that when new Heidelberg platen presses are no longer available then quality rebuilt equipment from ourselves is the answer.

Our Foilmaster Manufacturing Programme offers the correct unit for any Heidelberg platen press. Mechanical or electronic foil control can be supplied with integral re-reeling unit, full size steel heater plate, quick release foil holder. The standard mechanical Foilmaster system is unique in that it also offers an upgrade to full electronic foil control, so as to offer multiple step and repeat capabilities at a future date without replacing the unit. All presses are supplied as fully factory rebuilt complete with standard accessories and manuals, Unless stated otherwise.

Introduced for the NEW  FOILMASTER range is the Foilmaster T Side-Feed unit and the Foilmaster GT Removable Heater Plate. The smaller sheet sized Heidelberg T 10" x 15" platen can be fitted with this new unit which draws the foil from side to side rather than top to bottom. Many advantages are produced by this method, firstly the restriction of using only 200ft 17mm master rolls drawn vertically is overcome. Our system uses standard 400ft 25mm core master rolls and can even accept up to 1000ft rolls. The electronic unit also comes standard with a programme foil pull allowing step and repeat functions and minimal foil wastage. All units have an excellent 220 x 315mm maximum image area and incorporate re-reeling of waste foil as standard. This is a truly new approach to small format automatic foil stamping and embossing and offers a fully automatic machine at a realistic cost. The Foilmaster Removable Heater Plate offers quick change over of print jobs and the ability to pre register dies off the press. The light 5mm removable top plate avoids any heavy lifting of the heater plate from the press and a register pin system provides accurate positioning.

Total flexibility is offered through our engineering services. Qualified factory trained fitters with many years experience of Heidelberg platen presses are available to offer on-site repairs, upgrades and fitting of Foilmaster units to customers existing machines. Factory rebuilds and re-conditioning of platen presses is a speciality of our company and with new machines no longer obtainable this is a very popular option to our customers.
